英文寫作常見問題

彙整John的英修建議，發現以下幾點自己在英文寫作上的問題最常被糾正：

1. and之前要加逗點：A, B, and C

2. 名詞前常忘記加the限定

3. compared to之前要加as：“as” compared to

4. 重點名詞要先寫。例如：
(1) The STREAM-15 shows comparable psychometric properties with STREAM-30.
→ The psychometric properties of the STREAM-15 are comparable to those of the STREAM-30
(2) A few patients were detected as deterioration during hospitalization by the STREAM-30.
→ Deterioration during hospitalization was detected in a few of the patients by the STREAM-30.

5. 比較兩種事物時，常忘記加代名詞，導致比較的對象不對等。例如：The group-level psychometric properties of the STREAM-15 were shown to be as robust as those of the STREAM-30 and STREAM-27.

6. 主詞/受詞與動詞距離太遠。例如：
(1) The baseline scores of the 3 subscales of the STREAM-30 of the remaining 195 patients and those of the 193 patients lost at second assessment were not significantly different (p > .05).
→ The baseline scores of the 3 subscales of the STREAM-30 of the remaining 195 patients were not significantly different (p > .05) from those of the 193 patients lost at second assessment.
(2) As expected, deterioration during hospitalization was detected in a few of the patients by the STREAM-30.
→ As expected, deterioration during hospitalization was detected by the STREAM-30 in a few of the patients.
